About SDSU Men’s & Women’s Crew

The San Diego State Rowing team is a club program, recognized as a Tier A program by Associated Students and the Sports Club Council. With our boathouse located on Mission Bay, Aztec rowers enjoy access to one of the most respected bodies of water in the country for rowing.

A program with a rich history, SDSU Rowing travels up and down the west coast to compete against some of the country’s fastest ACRA and IRA programs. With races in Newport, Las Vegas, Sacramento, LA, and eventually concluding our season at the ACRA National Championships in Atlanta (site of the 96’ Olympics) Aztec Crew represents San Diego State on the Regional & National stage.

Developing Student-Athletes since 1925

Referred to as San Diego State’s “Best Kept Secret” Aztec Crew has carried on a long-built tradition of developing experienced oarsmen and walk-ons into national caliber rowers.

Our Crew Is Our Family

Most people new to rowing join for the novelty of the sport. But they stay for the people. The best people make for the most memorable college experience, and rowing tends to find the best of the best.
