Become A Mentor

As a program, we strive to not only create better athletes, but better people. When athletes are off of the water, many oarsmen and coxswains alike are handling their coursework and an additional job or internship. This kind of commitment is what sets oarsmen apart from their peers in the classroom and the job market. It is paramount that athletes prepare not only for competition, but the environment of their sought after profession.

Aztec Rowing would like to reach out to friends and alumni to offer athletes advice on professional development. We have published each athletes field of study with their roster information. If you see an opportunity where you can offer advice to our squad, whether its an internship opportunity, resumé building, or personal advice, feel free to contact President Brandt Watson at sdsucrewpresident@gmail.com to learn how you can make a difference for Aztec Rowing and the trajectory of SDSU’s finest athletes.
